Garden plants need a lot of sunshine, so pick a location that receives direct sunlight for the majority of the day. Choose a location that is more protected from the wind, such as by surrounding trees, a tall barrier, or a wall, as strong winds can be devastating to tender plants.
Although you will need easy access to water, avoid placing your raised bed in a position where rainwater pools and stands-veggies do not like soggy environments.
